OUR SECRETS | 2002

Made by the hundreds, these drawings came about during a time in which I was not living in Brazil; with them, I began to build a collection of cultural and sentimental references shot through by the contemporary subject matter of those (and these) times, such as urban violence and wars.

The last steps in the making of these drawings almost always occurs through a juxtaposition of very fine sheets of paper, mixing references and building new stories.
