GUANABARA IS BEAUTIFUL AND TOOTHLESS | 2010

Because Rio de Janeiro is among the world’s most frequently depicted cities, I chose one of its most beautiful landscapes to create this work: an outline of the mountains surrounding Guanabara bay. It was co-authored for the Métissagesproject with French maÎtre d’art Mylène Salvador-Ros and financed by the Centre National des Arts Plastiques (CNAP), Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication, Paris
